About the site
Our government terminated the Mobilization and Communist Rebellion Suppression Period in May 1991; it then subsequently restored the constitutional system. In July 1992, the "Civil Association Act during the Period of National Mobilization for Suppression of the Communist Rebellion" was amended and renamed as the "Civil Association Act" which serves as the foundation for the development of party politics. By the end of 2015, a total of 292 political parties had registered their organizations with the MOI while there were then a total of 55 registered political associations.
